Here we have an image of a number of Australian Wood Duck chicks that were photographed at a waterway at Tannum Sands.
Both parents were looking after all ten of them! When the image was taken, the adults had just finished teaching them to bathe and dry off.
As part of that, the adults came ashore, with the chicks, following suite. Here we see one of the parents to one side, while all the chicks are trying to perch on the same rock!
You may be able to guess how many of the ten, made it up there!
