Gracemere combined agents saw a steady yarding of 2,673 head, come to hand on Wednesday, 7 May, consisting of 1,215 steers, 952 heifers, 343 cows, 43 cows and calves, 96 mickies and 24 bulls.

With some quality runs of feeder steers on hand, the market held firm on last week for the cattle that were in-spec for the 100-day feeder job.

Lines of cattle were consigned from as far north as Bowen, Nebo, Duaringa, Marlborough and Theodore, along with all the local areas in between.
