The doors are back open at 97 Goondoon Street, Gladstone following a $1.75 million upgrade.
Early December, the National Australia Bank (NAB) team hosted customers and members of the community for a reopening event at the branch following the refurbishment.
The new-look Gladstone banking hub is part of NAB’s $280 million branch transformation program, including supporting Gladstone to better back the regional powerhouse of Central Queensland.
NAB’s history in Gladstone dates back to 1897.
The Goondoon Street premises will provide 12 business, agribusiness and personal banking experts at the new banking hub, with local knowledge and experience.
Shane Phillips, NAB retail customer executive, Central Queensland, said the team are excited to have a new state-of-the-art facility.
“Gladstone is a regional powerhouse of Central Queensland, and we’re excited to have state-of-the-art banking facilities for the region with our $1.75 million refurbished banking hub on Goondoon Street open,” Mr Phillips said.
“The banking hub will be home to around 12 bankers who help serve our personal and business customers from Gladstone and across the region.
“We’ve got new dedicated spaces for conversations with bankers, as well as a digital banking education area where one of our bankers can show how to get set up for online banking.”
