Juvenile arrested following property crimes

Gladstone police have charged a 13-year-old Toolooa boy following investigations into a number of property offences occurring in Gladstone.

It will be alleged at approximately 4pm on Saturday 26 August, 2023, the boy attended an address on Angler Street, Toolooa, and entered an unlocked vehicle before stealing a wallet.

It will be further alleged at approximately 6.30pm on Monday 18 December, 2023, the boy attended an address on Off Lane where he entered the address through an unlocked balcony before being disturbed by the resident.

Around 4.30pm on Tuesday 26 December, 2023, he allegedly attended an address on Breslin St, West Gladstone, entering through an open rear window before stealing a box of hunting knives.

He was charged with one count of enter premises and commit indictable offence, one count of enter dwelling with intent in company and one count of enter dwelling and commit.

He is scheduled to appear in the Gladstone Children’s Court later in January.
