
Gladstone detectives have charged a 39-year-old Baree man following an armed robbery incident in West Gladstone on Monday.
Police will allege around 3.30pm on May 5, a man entered a Norris Street address where he assaulted the male resident before producing a knife, and making demands for money.
The man obtained a quantity of property before leaving the scene in a car a short time later.
He was intercepted by Gladstone detectives around 6.30pm and taken into custody.
The Norris Street resident sustained minor injuries.
The 39-year-old Baree man was charged with armed robbery, attempted robbery, and entering a dwelling with intent.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to reappear before Gladstone Magistrates Court on July 1.
