Lego League Championship launch-off for Chanel

It was a ‘battle of the bots’ at Chanel College on Saturday November 25, with the hosting of the 2023 First Lego League National Championship North.

Hundreds of robotics enthusiasts from across Queensland and Northern New South Wales brought their best Lego robotic designs to the competition table to vie for supremacy in the annual tournament.

It was a day of intense competition, diligent design and programming work and great sportsmanship.

Congratulations to our two Chanel College teams – Chanel Coyotes and Chanel Crocs – which competed in the tournament. Both teams impressed judges with their designs and teamwork, resulting in Chanel Coyotes placing second in Robot Design Award category.

The finale of the championship resulted in three teams being invited to advance to next level of the First Lego League Challenge competition, the World Festival.

The successful teams were CSC – RoboRoyals, VegeMight and Buderim Circuit Crew 23.

Congratulations to all the winners!
